Hey There!

I'm Bernadette aka Bee and I am the storyteller behind Honey Bee Photography. I was born and raised in Sacramento, California and I sure love my city and the beautiful backdrops we have to work with for sessions!

I am a Wifey, a Mama of 3 babes and a fur baby named Maple. I started my photography journey  nearly 11 years ago, shortly after the birth of my son Avery. My husband purchased me a fancy little canon rebel camera and what started as a hobby photographing my baby boy, soon blossomed into my very own photography business, Honey Bee Photography.

I have a passion for capturing sweet moments and connections between families, couples and exciting milestones for individuals. I absolutely love being able to freeze moments in time and love all types of sessions but my all time favorite shoots, are those that document Motherhood. Capturing those real raw, unposed connections is my way of telling beautiful stories, so if you love candid shots, I am your girl!

I also love to shoot during the "Golden Hour", which adds warm yummy light to your images, so please trust me when I suggest evening shoots. I also love helping my clients coordinate the perfect outfits, so just let me know how I can help!
